Our security guard told me about Salinger's passing. I was shocked. I also made the mistake, for whatever reason, of calling Salinger a "she". I think the security guard now thinks I'm the village idiot. In any case...very sad to hear about his passing. Rest in peace.

ooh definitely buy happy tape. i wrote a stack of birthday cards and sealed the envelopes with the colored tape, and that made me ridiculously happy.
